About the role

We are seeking a talented Product Specialist/Content Writer/Company Profile Editor to join our team in Kuala Lumpur on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that bridges technical expertise with creative communication. You will be responsible for developing, editing, and refining product content, company profiles, and technical documentation that effectively communicates our motorsport solutions to diverse audiences. This role is essential in establishing our brand voice, ensuring product information is accurate and compelling, and maintaining consistency across all communication channels. You will play a crucial part in translating complex technical concepts into engaging content that resonates with both industry professionals and enthusiasts.

Key responsibilities

• Create, edit, and refine product descriptions, specifications, and technical content for our company products and services

• Develop and maintain company profile documentation, ensuring all information is current, accurate, and professionally presented

• Conduct product research and analysis to understand technical features and translate them into clear, accessible content for target audiences

• Collaborate with different departments to gather information and ensure content accuracy

• Proficient in using PowerPoint to prepare and deliver professional presentations.

• Edit and proofread content to maintain high standards of grammar, clarity, tone, and style consistency

• Develop and maintain content style guides and templates for company-wide use

• Manage content across multiple platforms and formats, including websites, brochures, catalogues, and digital media

• Review competitor content and industry standards to ensure our materials remain competitive and relevant

• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions to content as required

• Support the development of technical documentation and user guides for products and services

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a technical writer, content writer, product specialist, or similar role within the AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR

• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills across various formats and platforms

• Exceptional ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences

• Proficiency in researching and understanding technical specifications, product features, and industry standards

• Advanced proficiency in English with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite) or similar tools

• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments

• Knowledge of or passion for motorsport, automotive engineering, or high-performance vehicles is highly desirable

• Experience with SEO-optimised content creation is a plus
