Product Specialist

Polaris Science Pte Ltd is a young, dynamic distributor of cutting-edge scientific instruments and laboratory equipment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and driven Product Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone excited about promoting & servicing advanced technologies in nano-characterization, nano-fabrication, biotechnology, clean energy, as well as supporting interdisciplinary R&D and quality control.

What You'll Enjoy:

· Engaging with customers to present our solutions, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service.

· Responding to sales inquiries, preparing quotations and tender submissions, and assisting customers with product applications.

· Performing installation, commissioning and training of instruments at customer laboratories.

· Responding promptly to service call, provide accurate diagnosis, repair, service report and maximize the uptime of our customer equipment.

· Ensuring customers have great experience and to expand the good relationships with our customers as well as our suppliers.

· Promoting Preventive Maintenance (PM) Contracts for all our equipment and collaborating with our Sales and Technical Support teams to meet ambitious sales targets.

What You Need:

· Degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

· At least 2 years of relevant industry experience. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in the field are welcome to apply as on-the-job training will be provided.

· Customer-centric mindset with a friendly and professional demeanour.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Self-motivated, disciplined, and positive attitude with a passion for learning and serving others.

· Entrepreneurial spirit and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-growing start-up environment.
