Product Specialist (Server Computing)

Salary: $3,500 – $4,000 per month

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Product Specialist (Server Computing) to support product management, business development, and presales activities related to server computing solutions. The role involves working closely with our partner's team on product-related activities, customer engagements, and emerging technologies, including practical AI applications and workflow automation. You will be primarily stationed at our partner's office.

Key responsibilities

• Support product-related activities, business development, and customer engagements in collaboration with the partner's team.

• Develop and maintain knowledge of server technologies, product portfolios, vendor roadmaps, and industry trends.

• Support presales activities by understanding customer requirements, proposing solutions, and preparing BOMs, quotations, and technical documentation.

• Coordinate tender submissions, vendor quotations, technical compliance documents, and follow-ups on business opportunities.

• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, distributors, partners, and customers.

• Evaluate and deploy AI models on enterprise computing platforms to develop secure, on-premises solutions for internal workflow automation.

• Explore practical AI applications and support the development of integrated hardware and AI solutions for customer demonstrations and presales activities.

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through digital tools, automation, and emerging technologies.

• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support product updates, customer enquiries, and project coordination.

• Comply with the partner's information security and confidentiality policies and perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Strong interest in server computing, IT infrastructure, product management, and technical presales.

• Willingness to learn and explore emerging technologies, including AI applications, model deployment, and workflow automation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, digital business systems, and collaboration tools.

• Good analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies.

• Proficiency in Chinese for communication with China-based teams, along with good working English.

• Candidates with existing authorisation to work in Singapore without employer sponsorship are preferred.
