This role is a valuable part of our Global Product Strategy and Supply Operations team, which is committed to achieving our mission of delivering life-changing therapeutics seamlessly to patients worldwide. As a member of this team, you will have the unique opportunity to bridge the gap between long-term product vision and operational execution. You will collaborate closely with key global stakeholders across technical development, finance, supply chain, regulatory, and manufacturing. Together, we foster a resilient, matrix-led environment where strategic insight translates directly into measurable patient impact.

The Opportunity

As a Product Supply Strategy Leader (Senior Director level), you will serve as the core driver of end-to-end supply chain design and resilience across the entire product lifecycle, with a particular focus on late-stage development through new product launches. Operating at an enterprise level, you will lead high-performing, cross-functional matrix teams to translate complex disease area visions into actionable, risk-managed execution plans that deliver business value.

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of cross-functional product strategy teams spanning technical, finance, supply chain, regulatory, and manufacturing departments.

  • Design and implement resilient, end-to-end supply chains from late-stage development through the global launch of new products and line extensions.

  • Translate complex disease area and product visions into concrete, actionable execution plans and overarching strategic objectives.

  • Direct high-impact investment proposals by prioritizing key product supply initiatives based on timeline, cost, and overall business value.

  • Manage ongoing product health by continuously overseeing supply resilience, process robustness, and sustainability KPIs.

  • Integrate external customer insights and global competitive landscape trends to actively shape lifecycle and disease area strategies.

  • Predict strategic decision implications while managing holistic end-to-end risks and supporting long-range planning with assumption-driven forecast scenarios.

Who You Are

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the life sciences, engineering, or business disciplines.

  • Industry Experience: 10+ years of multi-disciplinary work experience in the pharma/biotech industry, featuring a broad understanding of manufacturing and technical operations.

  • Leadership Track Record: 7+ years of experience in senior people management or senior matrix team leadership, with a proven ability to coach and develop the next generation of leaders.

  • Technical Expertise: Proven success in designing, implementing, and evolving product supply chain strategies, specifically with new product launches and/or line extensions (exposure to biologic, synthetic molecule, or device supply chains is beneficial).

  • Business Acumen: Strong ability to understand market access, disease areas, and demand-side volume drivers (experience in strategic areas like oncology, neuroscience, or immunology is a plus).

  • Global Mindset: Strong preference for international or global team experience, paired with the ability to travel globally approximately 10% or lower.

  • Soft Skills: A strategic thinker and persuasive communicator who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing holistic risks, building global trust, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
