Product Support Overview:

The Product Support pillar plays a critical role in ensuring Toyota vehicles and accessories deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the product lifecycle. This function collaborates across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, dealers, and business partners to develop, launch, and support products that meet Toyota's quality, safety, and reliability standards.

Team members contribute to product development and lifecycle management through vehicle and accessory fitment activities, component and process engineering support, manufacturing readiness planning, root cause analysis, project management, and cross-functional coordination. In partnership with Toyota manufacturing plants and supplier partners, the team evaluates manufacturability, supports supply chain and production process improvements, and helps implement design enhancements to ensure successful mass production and product quality.

What you’ll be doing

  • Project Support and Execution: Assist with ongoing projects by contributing to planning, research, and execution. The projects vary depending on the field.
  • Networking and collaboration: Grow professional network through participating in team meetings and communicating cross-functionally.
  • Process Improvement and Innovation: Interns are encouraged to observe current practices and suggest improvements. This may include observing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, proposing new methods, or supporting implementation.


What you bring:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Preferred 3.0 and above GPA
  • Must have completed at least one full academic year at a two- or four-year college or university post-high school (sophomore standing or above)
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited degree program (this includes both two-year and four-year colleges) studying in a business discipline or related field, such as:
    • Mechanical Engineer / Engineering Technology
    • Electrical Engineer / Engineering Technology
    • Industrial Engineer / Engineering Technology
