Electrical Production Support Engineer

On behalf of our client, a global technology company in the automotive industry, we are looking for an Electrical Production Support Engineer to support manufacturing plants worldwide in resolving electrical and electronic production issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate electrical and electronic failures and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and supplier teams to resolve technical issues.
• Analyze power electronics, electrical circuits and component performance.
• Coordinate Design of Experiments (DoE) and apply problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5-Why and Fishbone.
• Assess component changes and their impact on product performance and reliability.
• Prepare technical reports and support continuous improvement initiatives across global manufacturing sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related technical field.
• 2–7 years of experience in electrical engineering, power electronics, manufacturing support or a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of electrical circuits, power electronics and electronic components.
• Experience in electrical testing, validation, failure analysis or production support.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in automotive electronics or power electronics.
• Background in hardware design, validation, test engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of automotive quality processes, including APQP and PPAP.
