Product Support Specialist

At Jered, a PAR Systems Company and leader in engineered solutions for naval and maritime systems, our Product Support Specialists play a pivotal role in supporting our customers throughout the aftermarket experience. We are looking for a customer-focused, organized, and resourceful Product Support Specialist who can effectively manage multiple customer accounts while delivering the level of quality and responsiveness our customers expect.

In this role, you'll interact with customers daily, manage requests for quotes, and see customer orders through from initial request to delivery. You'll work across Quality, Engineering, and Estimating to monitor quote and order progress while quickly addressing concerns related to pricing, quotes, and customer orders. Your ability to communicate effectively and keep multiple priorities moving will help Jered continue to provide excellent products and customer satisfaction.

Success Criteria:
As a Product Support Specialist, you'll spend much of your time managing customer accounts, responding to requests for quotes, tracking customer orders, and coordinating internally to ensure quotes and orders continue progressing toward completion.

You'll work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Estimating teams to monitor both quote and order progress and ensure customers receive quality service with quick turnarounds. The most successful team members are able to follow established processes, communicate effectively with various audiences, and manage multiple priorities at once.

Success in this role means providing a strong customer experience while maintaining organization and responsiveness throughout the quote and order process. Previous manufacturing experience, familiarity with blueprint reading, government contract experience, and strong people and organizational skills will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Three (3) years of experience in Manufacturing, Production Planning, Project Management, or a related field
Proficient with office computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer accounts
U.S. Citizen or Green Cardholder
Must meet company drug-free workplace requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic estimating or procurement experience
Experience with blueprint reading or engineering drawings
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience with government contracts
