Product Tech - Module Test
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute engineering tasks and support production to achieve process KPIs: Output, Quality, and Scrap Cost.
- Perform periodic verification and manage test fallout dispositions.
- Analyze test log files to identify failure modes and troubleshoot failed modules.
- Follow up on Special Build Requests and compile data summaries for product engineers.
- Troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing process equipment to meet yield targets.
- Demonstrate strong observational skills to detect discrepancies and understand test processes in detail.
- Communicate effectively with peers and cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration.
- Provide clear updates and feedback to ensure smooth operations.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives and optimize resource utilization.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Education & Experience
- Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in semiconductor industries, preferably 8 years’ experience working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
Skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
- Willing to work on 12-hours shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
- Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge.
- Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
- Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
