We are seeking an experienced Product Test Engineering (PE/TE) Manager to oversee product engineering and test development activities for our semiconductor solutions. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring product quality, reliability, and manufacturability from design through high-volume production. You will play a critical role in defining test strategies, optimizing yield, and driving cost-effective solutions.
This position requires strong technical expertise in semiconductor test methodologies, product engineering processes, and high-volume manufacturing, combined with leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor product and test engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and operational efficiency.
Test Strategy Development: Define and implement test strategies for new product introductions, including wafer sort, final test, and system-level test.
Yield Quality Optimization: Analyze test data to improve yield, reliability, and performance while reducing test time and cost.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, validation, packaging, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless productization.
Supplier Partner Management: Coordinate with OSATs (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) and other partners to ensure robust test processes.
Failure Analysis Debug: Lead root cause analysis for test escapes and yield issues, driving corrective actions.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement best practices for test automation, data analytics, and continuous improvement.
Customer Support: Provide technical support for customer qualification and resolve product-related issues.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master s degree preferred.
Experience: 10+ years in semiconductor product/test engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of semiconductor test methodologies, ATE platforms, and statistical data analysis.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex yield and test issues.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaboration: Experience working with OSATs and global manufacturing partners.
