Product Tester

Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 per year

Our valued client is a leading provider of geological and mining data management software, cloud-based platforms, and technical advisory services to the global resources sector. A new role has become available for a Product Tester who will be responsible for carrying out software testing activities, validating application functionality, identifying defects and ensuring software solutions meet business requirements and our client’s quality standards.

The salary on offer is between $85 – 100,000 plus super, depending on relevant skills and experience.


Some Details of the role:

  • Develop, maintain and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for all our clients’ software

  • Perform functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing activities for software

  • Identify, document and track software defects through to resolution.

  • Validate bug fixes and confirm successful issue resolution.

  • Ensure software functionality meets business and technical requirements.

  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and investigate defects.

  • Maintain accurate testing documentation and test evidence.

  • Must maintain excellent customer relationships at all times


To be considered for the role, the following would be valued:

· Experience with Dev Ops and Jira

· Experience with SQL Server

· Experience with Functional testing of web and business applications.

· Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.

· Experience in Geological software or industry would be valued but not essential
