Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product UX Designer – Platform & Workflows based in India.

Join a distributed product team building intuitive digital experiences for complex recruitment and employment platforms. As a Product UX Designer, you will shape end-to-end workflows that help enterprise administrators, employers, and end users navigate sophisticated platform interactions with ease. You will transform business requirements and user needs into scalable, accessible, and engineering-ready design solutions. Working closely with product managers and front-end engineers, you will take ownership of designs from initial exploration through implementation. This role offers an opportunity to influence product usability, interaction consistency, and design quality across international markets. You will collaborate asynchronously with colleagues across the United States, Tokyo, and Hyderabad in a globally distributed environment.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead the design of complex platform workflows, balancing usability, scalability, accessibility, and technical feasibility. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and iterate on end-to-end interaction and visual experiences for complex, multi-step enterprise and product workflows.

  • Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive, reusable, and scalable product solutions.

  • Develop lightweight interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts, demonstrate transitions and interface states, and validate workflows with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Partner with product managers and front-end engineers throughout implementation to ensure design intent is accurately translated into the final product.

  • Produce production-ready design specifications, redlines, component details, edge cases, and comprehensive error states to support effective engineering handoffs.

  • Communicate design decisions, rationale, and trade-offs clearly while collaborating asynchronously across international teams and time zones.

  • Contribute to consistent, accessible, and responsive experiences for both enterprise users and end customers.

  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong UX fundamentals with hands-on product design experience and a proven ability to deliver solutions that reach production. You should bring the following qualifications and skills:

    • Approximately 3–5 years of professional experience in product UX design.

    • A mandatory portfolio demonstrating shipped digital products, end-to-end design ownership, and work implemented by engineering teams. The portfolio should go beyond concept art, graphic design, or static wireframes.

    • Strong interaction and visual design skills, supported by clear problem-solving rationale and attention to responsive behavior, accessibility, and edge cases.

    • High proficiency in Figma, including the creation of production-ready design assets, components, and detailed specifications.

    • Demonstrated experience collaborating directly with product management and engineering teams through production release.

    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, as interviews, documentation, and daily collaboration are conducted in English.

    • The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate asynchronously across teams in the United States, Japan, and India.

    • Reliable connectivity to a client-provisioned AWS WorkSpace. Candidates must complete the AWS WorkSpaces connectivity test and submit a screenshot of the results with their application.

    • Additional experience that would be advantageous includes:

      • Designing platform products, administrative dashboards, internal tools, or complex configuration interfaces.

      • Working with established design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns.

      • Designing forms, multi-step questionnaires, applicant screening tools, or structured survey workflows.

      • Designing multi-tenant, white-label, multi-brand, or configurable products that serve different user groups, such as enterprise administrators and consumers.

      • Familiarity with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.

      • Benefits:

        • Full-time, permanent employment.

        • Fully remote working arrangement, with flexibility to collaborate asynchronously across global time zones.

        • Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale international product initiative in recruitment technology and employment matching.

        • Collaboration with distributed product, design, and engineering teams across multiple regions.

        • Opportunity to develop expertise in complex workflows, scalable platform experiences, and production-ready design systems.
