Production Adjuster
Summary
Production Adjustor troubleshoots and repairs packaging machinery, enforces safety and quality standards, and coaches operators to minimize downtime and waste in a 12-hour shift environment.

Shifts: Day (5am-5pm) or Night (5pm-5am)

Position Overview:
- Adhere to and enforce all safety rules and lock out procedures
- Ensure understanding and adherence to all product quality metrics
- Make sure all guards are in place and in good functional condition at all times
- Trouble shoot & repair most mechanical breakdowns & adjustments
- Assist with and/or lead PMs as needed
- Backfill for production supervisor as needed
- Identify and execute on opportunities to improve on daily rate of production while keeping down waste
- Check and enforce daily lubrication on equipment
- Provide first aid/assistance when needed
- Assist operator when machine is down to minimize waste and down time
- Make sure personnel are kept busy while machine is down
- Run any machine when necessary
- Continuous improvement of your skillset
- Coach up operators on addressing tasks within their skillset and expectations
- Assist with training by working closely with operators during machine issues or machine maintenance
Skills/Qualities Required:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Have adequate tools to work on machinery
- Must be able to stand continuously for (12) twelve hour shift
- Must be willing to work some Saturdays as needed
- Must be able to adhere to company policy, safety rules and regulations, and wear PPE
Pay Range: $34 per hour.
