Production Admin
Summary
Coordinates production schedules, tracks materials/subcontracts, and maintains ERP records to meet delivery deadlines in a precision engineering firm.
Job Responsibility
- Release production jobs on time to meet customer delivery deadlines and requirements.
- Monitor job progress and identify potential delays.
- Collaborate with various departments (quality, sales, store, and engineering) to ensure efficient production coordination.
- Generate non-conformance and scrap inventory records in the ERP system to maintain accurate inventory data.
- Generate reports to compare total production quantity against sales order quantity for verification.
- Update and generate reports as needed.
- Prepare buy documents for subcontracting purposes.
- File completed job documents in a systematic manner.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Material & Subcontract (Sub-out) Follow-up
- Liaise with the internal purchaser on material readiness, delivery timing, and shortage follow-up.
- Track sub-out parts progress and ensure the return schedule meets production requirements.
- Update the master scheduler on material or sub-out delays that may impact production output.
- I4.0 System Involvement Participate in I4.0 system training to understand the system functions and data flow. Collaborate with the master scheduler and machine.
- Capacity Planner to manage and control the
- I4.0 dashboard Ensure production data accuracy and timely updates in the system.
- Support continuous improvement of I4.0 system reporting and integration.
Job requirement
- Nitec or Diploma in business administration, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in production or administrative roles is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Fast learning ability with a keen eye for detail.
