Throughout their unique range of selected packaging products, they serve a variety of industry sectors including; the defence force, the mining industry, infrastructure, logistics, aerospace and the general manufacturing sector. Due to their increase in acquiring new business, they have created an exciting opportunity for an additional Production Administrator to join their young and dynamic team of enthusiastic staff.
The Position…
In this position, the Production Administrator will be required to ensure products are effectively produced in the system; from entering production runs, to creating shipping documents, to organising logistics and closing delivered jobs in the system. You will need to liaise with internal departments to determine customer requirements while using the most cost-effective methods to meet the standards of the company’s quality specifications.
Further duties include;
- Monitor and follow production schedules detailing the required tasks to meet completion end dates.
- Monitor project's progress to ensure it follows the assigned schedule.
- Organise and maintain records including project schedules and shipping documents.
- Collect and assess data regarding the production and team's performance.
- Monitor production overheads and raw material costs.
- Prepare reports to improve overall production efficiency.
- Organise logistics for shipping product to customers.
The Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Production Administration, experience using ERP systems and an understanding of production scheduling along with a decisive mindset and excellent organisation skills. You will need to understand the basis of manufacturing/ production operations and streamline processes; with the ability to plan and problem solve.
