Job Title: Production and Inventory Specialist Department: Admin/Production

Summary:

This position requires you to take ownership of recording and reconciling daily production results and work with production and warehouse to ensure accuracy of inventory. This person will be involved with inventory reconciling and production validation.

  • Knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP system is helpful
  • Degree in Business Administration/Accounting or 3 years relevant experience preferred but not required
  • An understanding of how processes flow/work

Accountability # 1 – Production Entry (50%):

  • Validates production data for accuracy and reporting on production yield
  • Investigates inaccuracies and troubleshoots any production reporting discrepancies and all related correction and adjustment entries
  • Enters data for all Manufacturing Orders to convert fruit pounds to finished goods and to deplete BOM inventory
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of daily transactions into NetSuite and external production spreadsheets (Yield Report)
  • Scans all production related documents into online storage platform
  • Adapts to new procedures as inventory scanning is rolled out and provides insight and feedback to implemented procedural updates
  • Provides additional support to office staff as needed

Accountability # 2 – Inventory Reconciling (40%):

  • Performs physical counts, and works with warehouse and retail team to report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records (weekly, quarterly and semi-annually)
  • Perform mass balance of inventory items as needed to investigate discrepancies
  • Daily verification of WIP or FGI creation and scan to location for inventory accuracy
  • Work with the shipping team and assist with keeping the warehouse organized

  • Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms
  • Required to talk and hear
  • Required to sit, stand and walk
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Typical workday is 8 to 10 hours with additional hours as needed based on job requirements
  • The employee will occasionally lift and or move 10 to 40 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
