Production and Service Manager

The Production and Service Manager has overall responsibility for the service operations of the Power Systems Brampton Production and Service shops, including but not limited to responsibilities for financial (P&L), training and coaching of personnel, process and operational efficiency and improvements, and customer satisfaction, apprenticeship program management.

Pay type: Full time, Permanent

Compensation: $83,592 - $104,489.50

The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Manage day-to-day branch service activities, supporting service/production coordinators, advisors, supervisors and technicians to achieve key service objectives and meet customer and internal delivery expectations.
• Manage coach personnel, plan and coordinate training and time utilization for all personnel including apprenticeship training plans.
• Ensure continued customer satisfaction and loyalty by demonstrating continued engagement with customers leading to revenue growth.
• Lead your group to identify process and operational efficiency improvements, manage their implementation, and monitor progress.
• Lead budgeting (revenue and expenses) and reforecasting effort for production and shop activities, and monitor progress throughout the year.
• Promote safety for all as in integral part of our daily lives by ensuring that all policies, procedures, audits and inspections are completed and findings actioned within a timely manner.

Must-haves for this role:

• Thorough understanding of the marine, industrial and electric power generation service businesses.
• 10 years of working experience in the industry, at least 5 in supervisory roles.
• Caterpillar systems knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
