Summary
Assembles industrial pumps and components by reading schematics and following written instructions, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of an Assembler is to complete assembly functions identified and specified, as well as position parts and sub-assemblies using templates or reading measurements, with precision and accuracy. The Assembler should also serve as a working team member and individual contributor to the overall team’s success.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine assembly functions based on written or verbal instructions
- Not looking for a line worker, you will be reading schematics and putting pumps together with another team member.
- Read and evaluate assembly instructions to assure proper construction of products
- Cross trains to learn multiple functions in the production environment
- Adhere to company and regulatory agency health and safety standards
- Comply with Quality and Environmental Policies applicable to daily work activities
- Load and unload equipment and supplies as directed
- Clean and organize shop and other areas as required
- Adhere to company and regulatory agency health and safety standards
