Production Assembly Technician

Summary

Assembles and maintains production equipment in a manufacturing facility, following technical instructions and safety standards to meet production targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Correctly follow the manufacturing instructions provided at the workstation.
  • Operate, disassemble, clean and reassemble equipment in the production area in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Operate equipment efficiently as assigned on a daily basis to meet company targets.
  • Operate production equipment in assigned area in accordance with procedures set by the Manufacturing Department.
  • Carry out all technical operations such as fitting and assembly of products.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained clean, meeting the highest sanitary standards.
  • Ensure all floor stocks on working cart are being put back into place after use.
  • Review and ensure accurate completion of batch manufacturing records.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Process raw materials into finished products to meet customers' specifications.
  • Account for all direct and indirect materials provided.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene.
  • Observes safety procedures and regulation at all times.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Preferably with relevant ITE/NITEC qualification.
  • Fresh ITE graduates or Diploma holders are welcome to apply.
  • Experience with contract manufacturing is a must; ability to complete product assembly for senior roles.
  • Able to read and follow Technical instructions
  • Computer literate, knowledge with MRP system is a bonus.
  • Able to communicate in English.
  • A responsible team player and fast learner.
