Production Assembly Technician
Summary
Assembles and maintains production equipment in a manufacturing facility, following technical instructions and safety standards to meet production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Correctly follow the manufacturing instructions provided at the workstation.
- Operate, disassemble, clean and reassemble equipment in the production area in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Operate equipment efficiently as assigned on a daily basis to meet company targets.
- Operate production equipment in assigned area in accordance with procedures set by the Manufacturing Department.
- Carry out all technical operations such as fitting and assembly of products.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained clean, meeting the highest sanitary standards.
- Ensure all floor stocks on working cart are being put back into place after use.
- Review and ensure accurate completion of batch manufacturing records.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Process raw materials into finished products to meet customers' specifications.
- Account for all direct and indirect materials provided.
- Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene.
- Observes safety procedures and regulation at all times.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Preferably with relevant ITE/NITEC qualification.
- Fresh ITE graduates or Diploma holders are welcome to apply.
- Experience with contract manufacturing is a must; ability to complete product assembly for senior roles.
- Able to read and follow Technical instructions
- Computer literate, knowledge with MRP system is a bonus.
- Able to communicate in English.
- A responsible team player and fast learner.
