Production Assistant
Summary
Assemble and label baked goods and savory products in a food production facility, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and label bakery, pastry, and savoury products according to production and customer order requirements.
- Ensure labels are accurate, including product details, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
- Handle finished products carefully and maintain product quality during packing and storage.
- Pick, check, and prepare products for dispatch based on delivery schedules.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements at all times.
- Operate packing and labelling equipment according to work instructions and safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, tools, and equipment.
- Complete basic production and traceability records as required.
- Report any quality, safety, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Support the team in achieving daily production targets and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and willing to learn.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Comfortable working in a food production environment.
- Willing to work night shift.
- Experience in packing, labelling, or food manufacturing is a plus, but not essential as training will be provided.
- Full time and part time positions available.
