We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant tojoin our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll support daily production activities while learning the skills needed to become a Plastic Injection Moulding Operator.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Operate plastic injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment as assigned.
• Support machine start-up and shutdown activities.
• Monitor machine and process parameters and report abnormalities promptly.
• Troubleshoot basic machine or equipment issues and escalate when required.
• Record production data and machine parameters accurately.
• Assist in achieving daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Quality

• Perform visual inspections using inspection scopes and other basic inspection equipment.
• Conduct sampling inspections according to quality plans and work instructions.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products.
• Support containment and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Complete production and inspection records accurately.

Equipment & Housekeeping

• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
• Assist with simple servicing and replacement of consumable machine components.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe production environment.
• Follow all workplace safety and quality procedures.

Material Handling

• Pack, unpack and label finished products.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
• Move materials between production and warehouse areas.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks where licensed.

Team Support

• Support the Team Leader in production improvement activities and daily operations.
• Assist with production changeovers and new production runs.
• Perform shift handovers to ensure smooth production continuity.
• Carry out other production-related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Secondary school, NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in manufacturing or factory operations is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in plastic injection moulding is an advantage but training will be provided.
• Forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
• Good attitude, responsible and reliable.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Shift & Work Requirements

• Willing to work rotating day and night shifts when assigned.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing manual handling duties.
• Able to comply with all workplace safety requirements and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Shift allowance and overtime pay will be provided in accordance with company policy and Singapore employment regulations.
