Production Associate - Level I- 2nd shift
We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level I - to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Protect people and the workplace every day by immediately stopping work to report major hazards, injuries, or unsafe conditions, using proper PPE, and actively looking out for teammates to prevent incidents before they occur.
- Embed a strong safety culture by following all HSE standards, completing required training, correcting hazards within my control, and encouraging interdependence so everyone feels responsible for one another’s safety.
- Reduce environmental impact by recognizing how my work affects the environment and consistently choosing practices that minimize waste, spills, and unnecessary resource use.
- Strengthening quality at the source by following standard work and quality procedures, performing inspections, identifying nonconforming material early, and raising issues that could create cost or customer risk.
- Deliver reliable production results by operating manual and automated equipment safely and accurately to meet engineering standards, cycle times, and daily production goals.
- Support equipment reliability and flow by maintaining a clean, organized work area, performing routine operator care and maintenance tasks, and partnering with skilled trades to identify and address equipment issues.
- Stay adaptable to meet business demands by remaining flexible, taking on additional tasks as needed, and adjusting to changing production priorities while maintaining safety and quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and teamwork by communicating clearly with peers and support teams, completing required training, and actively participating in improvements to safety, quality, processes, material flow, and employee development.

Education:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
