Production Control Engineer / Project Coordinator

Job Description

• To assist in controlling program migration to production system

• To maintain the scheduling of production procedures

• To perform application batch processing in User Acceptance Test

• To perform procedures control on mainframe and other platforms

• To ensure all software tools assisting computer operations are running properly and effectively

• To perform any other duties as directed supervisor

• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and

• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

Requirements

• HKCEE/HKDSE with 5 subjects, including Chinese, English and Mathematics at Level2/Attained/Grade E or equivalent / above

• Preferably over 2 years of related IT experience covering the following:

-Experience in UNIX & Windows preferred

-Knowledge in IBM z/OS and z/OS utilities is an advantage

-Knowledge in Job Scheduling tool is an advantage

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to work under pressure

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
