PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS)

You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in the Engineering and Planning Dept, Chief Engineer, Process Control Div (Code 220), Work Packing (Nuclear) BR (Code 229) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

You will assemble and release all necessary supporting information, documentation, material and work authorizations for nuclear tasks packaging.

You will certify completed work in accordance with the nuclear and non-nuclear work packaging and control process guides.

You will coordinate and provide the necessary paperwork to the coordinators and project zone managers for the job summary review process.

You will read and interpret drawings, process instructions, specifications, nuclear power manuals, technical manuals and work requests.

You will utilize oral and written forms of communication to correspond with various levels of personnel.
