Production Director

About the role

At Mur&Partners, we are looking for a Production Director for a company in the industrial sector.

MISSION
The mission of this position will be to lead and coordinate the Production area, defining the operational strategy and ensuring the correct planning and execution of manufacturing processes to guarantee the fulfillment of quality, delivery deadlines, costs, and production capacity objectives. They will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in operations, optimizing available resources, and ensuring a high level of service, contributing to the competitiveness, profitability, and sustainable growth of the company.

What you'll do

FUNCTIONS
- Define and direct production planning, ensuring compliance with short, medium, and long-term plans, aligned with demand, production capacity, and customer service objectives.
- Guarantee efficient production execution, supervising compliance with daily planning, optimizing the use of facilities, and ensuring established productivity, quality, and cost levels.
- Manage and optimize production resources, maximizing the efficiency of human, technical, energy, and material resources, while minimizing consumption, waste, and operating costs.
- Lead, develop, and motivate the Production team, promoting a culture based on safety, continuous improvement, responsibility, and results orientation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, supervising production processes and the final product, guaranteeing compliance with customer specifications, GMP, and the company's Quality Policy.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence, identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, automation, and the implementation of new technologies in collaboration with technical areas.
- Control the area's performance indicators, preparing and managing the Production budget, analyzing key KPIs, and proposing investment plans that contribute to improving the plant's capacity and competitiveness.
- Guarantee compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring the correct application of OHS, environmental, and quality policies, as well as passing internal and external audits and reducing non-conformities.
- Coordinate Production activity transversally with the rest of the departments, especially with Maintenance, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Processes, ensuring the alignment of operations, the resolution of incidents, and the execution of plant improvement and investment projects.

What we're looking for

REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in responsibility positions within industrial environments,
preferably in chemical, food, processing plants, or continuous industrial processes.
- Professional English level is valued.
