Production Engineer
Job Scopes:
- Prepare take off according to the shop-drawings.
- Plan and follow up daily production work according to project schedule and priority.
- Coordinate with supervisors, QAQC, store, mould team, maintenance, subcontractors, and delivery team.
- Coordinate with labour subcontractors and ensure they understand daily production requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower attendance, productivity, and quality.
- Monitor casting work to ensure production is done correctly, safely, and on time.
- Follow up on pre-pour, post-pour checking, repair works, and delivery readiness.
- Update daily production records, casting quantity, mould usage, balance quantity, and production status.
- Highlight production delays, manpower issues, quality issues, or material shortages early.
- Ensure components are produced according to approved drawings and quality requirements.
- Prepare weekly or monthly production summary when required.
- Maintain proper records for subcontractor output, issues, and agreed actions.
- Maintain proper records, photos, inspection forms, and production reports.
- Support housekeeping, safety compliance, and improvement works in the production yard.
- Carry out any other production-related duties assigned by the Production Manager or Management.
Requirements (Qualification & Experience):
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in precast concrete manufacturing or construction industry.
- Experience in precast production is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Work location is in Tuas, Singapore
