Production Engineer (Manufacturing | Tuas)

• Basic $3,800–$4,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus
• 5-Day Work Week | Monday to Friday, 8.15am–5.45pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate production schedules, manpower, materials and machinery to meet delivery targets.
• Review production progress, identify bottlenecks and resolve issues affecting output and delivery.
• Coordinate with Design, QA, Sales and Production teams to clarify engineering drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• Plan material requirements and follow up on availability to keep production on schedule.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, manpower utilisation and product quality.
• Guide supervisors and production teams on assembly methods, workmanship and quality standards.
• Coordinate corrective actions for defects and rework, ensuring outstanding issues are resolved.
• Liaise with subcontractors on production schedules, technical matters and workmanship.
• Support workplace safety, equipment maintenance and daily departmental operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in production planning, material planning or manufacturing operations.
