Production Engineering (Furniture & Construction)

  • Review engineering and product drawings to ensure they are accurate, manufacturable, and ready for production.
  • Translate design drawings into detailed shop drawings, nesting, cutting plans, and other production drawings to support manufacturing activities.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team and Production Supervisor to resolve technical issues and improve production methods.
  • Prepare supporting engineering drawings for jigs, fixtures, templates, and other workshop requirements when needed.
  • Support production by identifying engineering improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and material utilization.
  • Manage engineering documentation, drawing revisions, and version control.
  • Participate in daily production briefings and ensure compliance with the Safety Management System (SMS), 5S, and workshop procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Vocational (SMK) graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in production engineering, manufacturing, steel fabrication, furniture manufacturing, or technical drafting.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (minimum 2022); knowledge of SolidWorks and SketchUp is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop detailed shop drawings for production.
  • Good understanding of steel fabrication, furniture manufacturing, production methods, and manufacturability principles.
  • Familiar with workshop machinery, fabrication tools, and production workflows.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage engineering documentation accurately.
  • Able to work independently while meeting project deadlines.
  • Committed to safety standards and workshop operational procedures.
  • Willing to work full-time on-site at AMODA's Workshop in Karawaci, Tangerang.
