Job scope:
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage production schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and production teams to balance manufacturing capacity with demand.
- Review changes in customer requirements and revise production schedules to support delivery commitments.
- Assist in production planning activities and support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) accurately within the ERP system.
- Monitor material availability and work closely with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of raw materials and components.
- Raise purchase requisitions according to production requirements and planned inventory levels.
- Track supplier lead times and follow up on material deliveries to prevent production delays.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock while minimizing excess inventory.
- Review inventory performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to inventory control practices.
- Manage safety stock and reorder parameters to maintain supply continuity.
- Work closely with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth coordination of material flow.
- Analyze planning and inventory data, monitor key operational KPIs, and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
- Leadership & Team Management
Lead and supervise production teams while promoting teamwork and accountability.
Ensure compliance with company policies and address performance or operational issues professionally and constructively.
