We are expanding our operations and are seeking an experienced Production Leadman to join our new Cleburne, Texas facility. This position is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience in precast, prestressed concrete, or similar industrial production environments.
Position Summary
The Production Leadman provides daily leadership and direction to production employees while ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are achieved. This position coordinates daily production activities, trains employees, maintains accountability within assigned areas, and communicates production needs and challenges to plant leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
- Assign daily work responsibilities and communicate expectations to production employees.
- Participate in daily production activities alongside the team, including manual labor, equipment operation, and material handling, while providing leadership and direction to employees.
- Monitor production progress and communicate challenges, delays, or material needs to plant leadership.
- Promote and enforce company safety policies, including PPE requirements and safe equipment operation.
- Complete daily safety activities, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews.
- Ensure proper use and inspection of cranes, rigging, tools, and production equipment.
- Maintain product quality by following approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Train and coach employees on production processes, equipment operation, and quality expectations.
- Assist employees with understanding production drawings and work instructions.
- Maintain accountability for tools, equipment, forms, and production materials.
- Monitor inventory needs and communicate shortages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Complete production reports and communicate daily production information.
- Assist plant leadership with employee coaching and accountability.
- Promote teamwork and continuous improvement within the production department.
