- Daily Management: Lead daily tier meetings and production reviews to drive continuous improvement using lean tools.
- Blocker Resolution: Interpret complex engineering data, maintain strict configuration control, and proactively resolve build bottlenecks.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor metrics including work-in-progress (WIP), throughput, on-time delivery, and internal lead-time.
Team Leadership
- People Management: Manage, mentor, and guide a high-performing technical staff of test engineers, specialists, and technicians.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience: 6+ years in aerospace production, avionics environments, or environmental testing.
- Leadership: 4+ years in a formal manufacturing leadership or technical program management role.
- Compliance: Deep knowledge of aerospace quality standards, safety guidelines, and configuration management.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and flow-based production.
- Direct experience with prototype builds, New Product Introduction (NPI), and production ramp activities.
- Proven ability to work across functional boundaries and influence without authority.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and master production scheduling.
