Production Manager

Job Summary

Lucent Biotech Limited is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage day-to-day pharmaceutical manufacturing operations at our Roorkee facility. The role involves ensuring efficient production planning, GMP compliance, quality output, and optimal utilization of manpower and resources while meeting regulatory and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control production activities to meet targets as per approved schedules
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines (WHO-GMP, Schedule M)
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, Stores, and EHS departments for smooth operations
• Monitor batch manufacturing, documentation, deviations, and CAPA implementation
• Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and validation of manufacturing equipment
• Optimize manpower deployment and productivity on the shop floor
• Review and approve BMR/BPR, logbooks, and production-related documentation
• Handle audits and inspections by regulatory authorities and customers
• Ensure adherence to EHS policies and safe working practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
