Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing production teams, achieving operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to achieve production targets.
  

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  

• Optimize manpower, equipment utilization, and production schedules for maximum efficiency.
  

• Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, OEE, rejection rates, downtime, and on-time delivery.
  

• Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and shop-floor teams.
  

• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and Supply Chain departments to ensure smooth operations.
  

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies.
  

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  

• Ensure proper inventory control and minimize production losses and material wastage.
  

• Prepare production reports, analyze performance metrics, and present operational updates to management.
  

• Support new product introductions and process improvements.
  

• Manage compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety requirements.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
  

• 8–12 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, with leadership responsibilities.
  

• Strong understanding of production planning, process optimization, quality systems, and maintenance coordination.
  

• Experience with ERP systems and production reporting tools.
  

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  

• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  

• Effective people management and team-building skills.
  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and deliver results under pressure.
