The Company…
The company is a well-established specialist engineering and fabrication operation. They specialise in manufacturing service modules and mining equipment in their modern fabrication and fit-out facility based in Pinjarra.
Their experienced team have built a strong reputation for quality, service excellence and reliability. With recent growth in their business, they are seeking to employ a full-time Production Manager.
The Position…
This new role will involve generating, implementing and reconciling the daily, weekly and monthly plan to ensure alignment with production schedule. The successful candidate will have direct management of their team and full accountability for the daily performance of the operations. It is critical that the successful candidate has the ability to build trust with the team, improve and focus on safety and drive a safety culture whilst having a good understanding of production practices to drive operational excellence.
The Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Trade qualification preferred
- 3 to 5 years minimum in similar role
- Experience in fabrication and/or manufacturing, or similar position
- Proven skills in manufacturing, interpreting drawings and planning
- People management and the ability to relate to people & build a high performing team culture
- Assist to deliver high end quality products through good fabrication & production, and production processes
- Computer Skills and able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Project
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Motivated, hard-working and a positive attitude
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
