Production Manager - Valle de Arratia

About the role

We are looking for a Production Manager with solid experience in custom metal manufacturing environments, capable of combining technical knowledge with team leadership. The selected person will assume integral coordination of production, ensuring compliance with delivery deadlines, quality standards, and the plant's operational efficiency.

What you'll do

Reporting directly to Management, the person hired will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the plant's productive activity, guaranteeing compliance with production, quality, safety, and established deadline objectives. Among their main responsibilities will be:

• Plan and coordinate production based on the order book and commitments made to customers.
• Monitor projects from the launch phase through to their final delivery to manufacturing.
• Coordinate the different production areas involved in metal fabrication, machining, and welding processes.
• Supervise compliance with execution deadlines and ensure correct resource allocation.
• Lead and manage a team of approximately 20 people in the plant.
• Guarantee the correct daily operation of the workshop, promoting order, organization, and compliance with established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Management in the continuous improvement of production processes and in the optimization of operational efficiency.
• Act as a technical and management reference for the manufacturing teams.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in responsibility positions within industrial metal manufacturing environments.
• Solid knowledge in heavy boilermaking, welded fabrication, and large-scale parts.
• Experience in made-to-order manufacturing environments and custom projects.
• B2-C1 English level for professional use.
• Experience in production planning, workshop coordination, and project monitoring.
• Ability to lead operational teams and generate commitment in the plant.
• Approachable, decisive, and organized profile with good communication skills.
• Residency in the region or availability to work daily in the area.
