Production Operator

About the role

Eurofirms is selecting a fish farm assistant for a company dedicated to the breeding of aquatic species located in Palma. The selected person will perform the following functions:

- Actively participate in daily production operations in the different areas: broodstock, live feed, larval, weaning, nursery, or pre-fattening.

- Actively participate in daily stock control, support in area management, feeding, handling or operations, cleaning, and disinfection.

- Detect, correct, and communicate deviations in the processes.

- Supervise the work of Assistants or Laborers, if any exist.

- Follow and comply with the protocols of the operations manual.

- Collaborate in training and educating new personnel in routine tasks.

- Complete the records relating to production.

- Take care of tools and work materials, including the uniform.

- Among other tasks specific to the workplace.

Education & certifications

• GS related to Agriculture.

Languages

• Correct spoken and written Spanish and/or Catalan.

Requirements

• Minimum experience of 6 months in tasks equal or similar to those described.
• We are looking for a dynamic and responsible person.
• Residence near the workplace is valued.
