Description
- Ensures all work is performed in a safe manner and has a complete understanding of safety protocols, including emergency stop buttons, power switches and proper lockout procedures
- Knows the OSHA requirements for the designated work area and makes sure requirements are met
- Ensures awareness of all known hazards
- Ensures appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used properly, is inspected regularly and is maintained
- Maintains area equipment
- Monitors levels of production
- Reads and understands production lists
- Operates equipment by demonstrating “One Right Way” safety procedures
- Works closely with quality control and operations on quality
- Keeps area in clean and orderly manner
