Production Operator (Soldering) - Tampines
1. Leadership & Team Management
Lead, motivate, and manage the production team to achieve optimal performance.
Set clear expectations and foster accountability across the team.

2. Quality Control
Ensure high standards of quality and safety are consistently met.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality requirements.
Monitor production output to maintain required specifications and standards.
3. Operational Efficiency
Oversee daily production operations to ensure output targets are achieved efficiently.
Monitor workflow and identify areas for process improvement.
Implement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
4. Training, Development & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with the on-site trainer to enhance team skills and competencies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.
Support skill development to improve overall operational performance.
5. Problem-Solving & Escalation
Troubleshoot issues on the assembly line effectively and efficiently.
Escalate technical or operational issues promptly to the Engineering team.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Clearly communicate instructions and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ensure alignment with production goals and timelines.
Maintain daily communication with the London office regarding production schedules and updates.
7. Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the team.
Required:
- Min 3–5 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
- Experienced in troubleshooting skills, understand Technical drawing, multimeter testing skills.(Must have)
- Committed to safety, quality and productivity
- Soldering and connectors fitting experience is essential
- Knowledge how to use network analyser, multimeter would be beneficial
- Good computer literacy and confident working with numbers – basic numeracy essential
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to effectively switch between tasks
- Good timekeeping
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
May be required to work overtime on Saturdays, depending on production needs
