Production Operator Trainee

Position Description
Title: Production Operator Trainee
Department: Coating or Converting
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Status: Non-Exempt Hourly

Principle Accountabilities

Responsible for performing work assigned in our manufacturing area according to the scheduled production requirements.
Must run production equipment in a safe, productive, efficient, and quality-conscious manner in order to achieve daily, weekly and monthly production goals.
Must be self-motivated, cooperative, and have excellent attendance.
Comply with all work rules while performing job assignments and utilize critical reasoning skills when solving problems that affect safety, quality, and productivity.

Essential Skills and Experience
The following experiences represent the minimum amount of education, training and work experience required:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent,
1-3 years prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required,
Ability to work any shift, and capable of working weekends and overtime.
