Your Role
As a Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth production operations by coordinating production schedules, material planning, and delivery timelines. You will work closely with multiple departments to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
Coordinate material procurement to ensure raw materials are available when required.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and adjust production plans to meet delivery schedules.
Optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Communicate production updates, delays, and schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and workplace safety requirements.
Utilize ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) to support production planning activities.
Analyze sales forecasts and assist in planning future production requirements.
Collaborate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and quality teams to achieve delivery and quality targets.
Evaluate raw materials and equipment readiness before production begins.
Prioritize and expedite work orders when necessary.
Resolve production disruptions and improve operational efficiency.
Participate in monthly inventory cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
Perform planning-related administrative duties and support ad hoc projects.
Support digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within the planning team.
What We're Looking For
Diploma in Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management.
1 year of Production Planning experience in the aerospace industry
Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and scheduling.
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is preferred.
