PRODUCTION SANITATION / FORKLIFT -3RD SHIFT

The purpose of this position is to keep the inside floors clean. Sanitation crew members are responsible for following general cleaning guidelines which are maintained by a cleaning checklist. The primary cleaning duties will include cleaning floors, helping sanitize warehouse space, taking out garbage and other cleaning duties as needed in our main plant. This position will be required to operate a forklift to move pallets. This position will also be cross trained to help in production.

Essential Functions

• General cleaning tasks such as operating floor scrubber, general cleaning, and sanitizing
• Operate electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack and forklift
• Move pallets and help put pallets away with powered equipment
• Ability to ensure that employee and food safety guidelines are being met

• Work with chemicals such as Alpet D2 Quat, Tac San Plus and other chemicals as needed
• Help with packing or dumping on machine lines when needed
