Production Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift operations in our fast-paced food manufacturing environment in Minneapolis, MN. Shift: 2nd Shift 4:30 pm - 3:00 am

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor the pasteurizing, separating, cooling or freezing, filling, mixing, clean-up, standardizing, and storing operations to ensure that plant production and quality standards are met.
• Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.
• Examine the equipment used in production processes to ensure that equipment is functioning efficiently and is properly cleaned and sanitized. Arrange for timely repair/resolution of equipment failures.
• Understands and fulfills the requirements of the SQF 2000 Level 3 code of regulation for food safety and quality. Manages policies, procedures, and programs related to operations. Foster continuous improvement to maintain the SQF 2000 Level 3 certification.
• Supervise the production scheduling, staffing, and material readiness to meet customer demand.
• Coach, train, and develop team members while fostering employee engagement and accountability.
• Manage employee performance, timekeeping, corrective actions, and labor relations matters as needed.
