The objective of a production supervisor is to ensure the daily production schedule is met while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards, in alignment with customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and communicate the daily activities with the Team Leader and team members to ensure production requirements are met.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams with different support departments to resolve quality, safety, and productivity issues.
- Ensure MOD personnel are properly trained in different operations to develop team members’ skills and support their internal growth through operation certification, achieving multiskilling capabilities.
- Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and activities aimed at reducing scrap rates across different production lines.
- Supervise the proper implementation of strategies in coordination with Human Resources to improve absenteeism and employee turnover rates.
- Continuously follow up on and audit Team Leader activities to ensure quality, safety, and productivity objectives are achieved.
- Continuously monitor and review SQDCM boards, involving support departments to promptly address any identified deviations.
- Work closely with the Maintenance department to prevent downtime caused by equipment failures on production lines.
- Perform all responsibilities to the highest standards, promoting productivity and continuous improvement to ensure business sustainability and growth.
- Demonstrate zero tolerance for unsafe acts and conditions, maintaining a strong commitment to compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure that Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and policies are effectively implemented across all areas under their responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Ability to interpret technical information, including drawings, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
- Performance indicator management and monitoring.
- Personnel management.
- Time and motion studies.
- 5S methodology.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Continuous improvement tools.
- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Autonomous Maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949:2016 standards.
- Lean Manufacturing.
