Who We Are

West Coast Magnetics is a leading innovator in the field of high-frequency power magnetics and filtering. We specialize in leading-edge technology and solutions that drive the future of the semiconductor and medical device industries.

The Role

As a Production Supervisor, you'll lead a hands-on production team to hit the daily build plan while protecting quality, safety, and efficiency. This role exists to keep work flowing, issues surfaced early, and people trained to standard.

Key responsibilities:
- Direct leads, trainers, and operators; assign labor by skill and training level
- Verify work meets customer specs through in-process and final inspection discipline
- Run daily check-ins with leads to confirm schedule, remove blockers, and adjust priorities
- Maintain training plans and the training matrix; coach performance and recommend development actions
- Support attendance, time-off approvals, and minor conflict resolution with HR
- Drive 5S, PPE use, and corrective actions to reduce scrap/rework; manage logs and required paperwork

Required qualifications/skills:
- 2+ years of supervisory experience; HS diploma or equivalent
- Electronics manufacturing familiarity, including IPC-610
- Clear communication and basic Windows PC skills

Apply if you can set a steady pace, hold standards, and lead by example.

Your Typical Shift

You start onsite in Stockton with a quick review of the day's priorities and a short huddle with your leads to confirm targets and call out constraints. From there, you're on the floor-checking progress, answering questions in real time, and stepping in when a process needs hands-on support.

Midday is spent balancing coverage as breaks and time-off requests come in, updating the training matrix after coaching moments, and making sure tools, fixtures, and materials are ready before they become a bottleneck. You'll walk the area with a 5S and safety lens, follow up on discrepancy items, and close out documentation before end of shift.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
