Production Supervisor
PURPOSE:
Westrafo America is a new manufacturing facility specializing in the production of electrical transformers. We are building a high-performing team focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing daily production operations at our electrical transformer manufacturing facility in Trotwood, Ohio. This role ensures production goals for safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency are consistently achieved while developing a skilled, accountable, and high-performing workforce. The Production Supervisor will drive continuous improvement, establish and maintain standardized processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the ongoing development and growth of manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who adapts to changing priorities, takes ownership of results, and helps strengthen operational performance while building a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and accountability.
DUTIES:
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
- Monitor workflows and adjust labor/resources to meet daily production schedules.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Enforce safety policies and 5S practices within assigned areas.
- Review production KPIs and recommend improvements.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training as the team scales.
- Support startup activities, including process documentation, equipment validation, and work instruction adherence
