Production Supervisors

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily production issue.
• Production schedule adherence inventory management, and employee development.
• Determining resources (capacity) needed to meet production plan.
• Managing dispatching of work orders according to the build plan.
• Drive for workmanship and quality improvements.
• Responsible for producing product output.
• Managing employee attrition and retention.
• Ensuring compliance to ISO, Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
• Motivate staff to achieve breakthrough performances.
• Maintain highly disciplined workforce.
• Meet the performance matrix - HPU, CT, DPPM, Line Item, Volume, Cross Training, WIP Accuracy and Attendance.
• Take part or to be trained on company's initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing.Derive Continual Improvement.

Education & Experience

• Diploma in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in a high volume high mix production environment managing production with at least 3 years in supervisory position.
  

Skills

• Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools is preferred but not mandatory
• Computer software knowledge etc : Microsoft Window.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Able to manage people and has good working attitude.
• Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
• Experience working in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment will be an added advantage
