Production Support Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Production Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production systems, providing support for database management, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. This role requires a strong understanding of UNIX systems, SQL databases, and shell scripting, as well as experience with Oracle RAC and Oracle DBA tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and maintain production systems to ensure high availability and performance. - Provide timely support for production incidents and issues, working closely with development teams to resolve problems. - Perform database management tasks, including backups, recovery, and performance tuning. - Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and enhancements to production systems. - Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
