Tommy’s is looking for a Production Team Member to join our manufacturing team in the assembly of high-quality car wash equipment. This role is responsible for assembling components and subassemblies using stainless steel parts, plumbing components, and related hardware in a clean, organized shop environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, accuracy, and consistency.

Position Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and production schedule.
Fit, fasten, align, and plumb components using hand and power tools
Identify and select correct parts, hardware, and materials for each assembly
Inspect finished assemblies against drawings and quality checklist
Package completed assemblies per Tommy standard (crating, wrapping, banding, boxing,)
Report any discrepancies, defects, or material shortages to supervisors
Maintain required quality standard and build efficiency
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and standard work instructions
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workstation and production area
Other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:

Prior experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, plumbing, or stainless-steel fabrication
Experience with multi-step assemblies or quality inspections
Motivated and possesses a high degree of attention to detail and quality
Experience using hand/power tools, and shop equipment
Ability with dexterity to work with varied part weights and sizes
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to read basic blueprints and assembly instructions
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a warehouse environment. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets along with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse / assembly tools and functions. This role operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:

Work and commute in all weather conditions
Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers
Work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking
Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as keyboard, copy machine and printer
Frequently stand and move about inside fast-paced warehouse environment
Work with heavy and technical equipment, lift 50lbs, go up heights on ladder
Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times
Frequently stand and walk for the majority of each shift
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50-70 pounds
