Vilota is a fast-growing technology company focused on developing positioning and localisation solutions for GPS-denied environments. Our VPS technology aims to provide accurate real-time tracking and navigation in challenging environments where GNSS is not available or reliable.
We are seeking an experienced Production Technician: Assembly and Testing strengthen our manufacture, assembly, testing and calibration department in Singapore.
Responsibilities
This is a full-time role for a Production Technician in Assembly and Testing. The Production Technician will be responsible for Assembly and Testing of Hardware Devices, Documentation, Software Testing and local Supply Chain. This is an on-site role located in Singapore, and requires residency status and permission to work in Signapore.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Assembly & Testing:
Perform assembly, functional testing, and final quality inspection before product shipment.
Test Documentation & Execution:
Prepare, document, and execute product test plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Software Testing:
Conduct daily software tests, including smoke testing, regression testing, and compatibility testing across multiple platforms.
Customer Support:
Provide technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting on-site testing issues and ensuring smooth product deployment.
Post-Sales Technical Support:
Serve as a key technical support contact for after-sales service, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues efficiently.
Collaboration with R&D:
Work closely with the technical team and developers to understand product features, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to product improvement.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of product usage, technical specifications, and key features to provide expert guidance internally and externally.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in product assembly, testing, and quality inspection.
- Highly organized, with a good understanding of process methodologies
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and hands-on problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with software testing methodologies (smoke testing, regression testing, etc.).
- Ability to document test procedures and results clearly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for customer support and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with different testing platforms and environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
