Production Technician

Job Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Production Technician.

The successful candidates will support component cleaning, inspection, material handling and inventory activities within a controlled production environment.

Candidates with experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics or technical operations are welcome to apply. Direct cleanroom experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, check and record incoming parts and materials.
• Perform component cleaning using the required equipment and procedures.
• Inspect components for cleanliness, damage or visible defects.
• Prepare and issue parts and materials to the relevant departments.
• Handle fragile and high-value components carefully.
• Assist with inventory counting, stock movements and material tracking.
• Maintain accurate cleaning, inspection and inventory records.
• Follow PPE, workplace-safety and contamination-control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Perform other production or operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing or a related discipline is preferred.
• Candidates with production, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics or technical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Cleanroom experience will be advantageous but is not compulsory.
• Entry-level candidates who are willing to learn may be considered.
• Comfortable performing hands-on cleaning, inspection and inventory duties.
• Comfortable wearing cleanroom attire and following PPE requirements.
• Able to handle fragile components carefully.
• Possess basic computer knowledge.
• Able to follow work instructions, safety procedures and quality standards.
