Production Technician I

Position Overview:

Assembly of Armor systems utilizing various machines, hand tools and materials and performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

• Must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications sketches, job orders, planning documents and engineering drawings.
• Be able to understand equipment requirements and the method and sequences of operation to be followed in fabrication of parts using materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber epoxy resin rubber and like material.
• Lay out and marks dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts, or uses templates.
• Cutting and trimming of armor parts per close tolerances using hand tools such as hand router, hand drill, hand sander and inspection equipment.
